“As a competitive gymnast, I’m used to putting my body through alot, but when I broke my right ankle (for the fifth time), I
thought my days of gymnastics were over. I went to physical therapy at Rehab Unlimited at Southbridge with very little hope
that I would be able to finish, or start for that matter, what may be my last year as a competitive gymnast. Rehab Unlimited
has treated me previously for injuries to my neck and back and successfully recovered me to go back to the gym, but this time
I had no hope. The ligaments in my ankle had been stretched too far from the five breaks and needed surgical repair to be fixed.
However, I wouldn’t be able to receive that until the following December in which case I would not have been able to compete
all this year. Well, to my surprise, the staff at Rehab Unlimited not only took care of me, but they gave me back part of my life.
Through a routine of stretching and strengthening my ankle muscles, I was able to go back to gymnastics and finish the season.
Limping into Rehab Unlimited, I never thought I would get this far, but now my ankle is so much stronger and I can enjoy
doing my passion of gymnastics on it. While I’m still planning on getting surgery to fully repair my ankle, I know that I can
come back to Rehab Unlimited for therapy afterwards and receive the best care possible. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
